Review of Summer 2010

It seems that Reading University has come to the end of its Summer Term 2010. Not quite the end of summer, especially as the summer teaching courses have just really begun, and won't finish for many months to come, but the undergraduate year has ended, and my articles will no longer be published in my university's student newspaper. I shall have to find bigger and better things to move onto!

As this last term has been so incredibly busy with teaching and student welfare, I had less chance t get creative linguistically. In addition, many of the UG students who are usually so busy with essays and preparing for mid-terms quickly finished their studies and an army of avid journalists sprung up as if from nowhere, minimising the number of slots in the papers which needed filling. As such, much fewer of my pieces were published this term. Only 16 articles written, of which 12 were published.
